Dr. David Stanley is from Tullahoma, and graduated from Tullahoma High School. He received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee at Martin, and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee at Memphis.
Dr. Stanley practiced dentistry for ten years as a member of the United States Army Dental Corps, with which he was stationed in Kentucky, Korea, and Germany. During this time he completed an advanced education general dentistry residency at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and received a certificate in pediatric dentistry and a Master of Science in oral biology from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
Dr. Stanley is board certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Tennessee Association of Pediatric Dentistry, Tennessee Dental Association, and 4th District Dental Society.
Dr. Stanley and his wife, Dr. Lisa Stanley, have three children — Sophie, Ava, and Beck — in addition to two Goldendoodles named Biscuit and Waffles. Dr. Stanley recently developed a passion for flying airplanes: an activity he would do every day if he could. When he’s on the ground, Dr. Stanley enjoys attending his kids’ activities, soccer, baseball, praise band, and vocal performances.
