Dr. Helen Bono is originally from Richmond, Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Radford University, and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University. She went on to earn her certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Bono attends annual AAPD and other local conferences to keep up to date with topics in pediatric dentistry. She is also an active member of the American Dental Association. In the past, Dr. Bono been involved in multiple Give Kids a Smile and Mission of Mercy oral health projects, and looks forward to finding new opportunities to help the Murfreesboro community.
Dr. Bono and her husband Ryan recently moved to Murfreesboro from Chicago, and are excited to be back south to the warmer weather and nicer people! They have two dogs: a Labrador named Griffin and a Chihuahua named Mac. When she’s not working, you can find Dr. Bono exploring Tennessee with her husband and dogs, at the gym, gardening, or traveling. She also likes spending time on the water and going to museums and festivals.
