Meet Dr. Jason Vogt

“It is extraordinarily important for me that I give my patients the very best dental care available. I want your visit at Wild About Smiles to be the most awesome it can be ... every single time!! I do whatever it takes—every day and with every patient—to ensure not only are my patients getting the very best in oral care, but also that they (and their parents) are comfortable and feel like they are number one at our office ... because they are! I feel like the luckiest guy in the world to get to do what I do!” – Dr. Jason

A native of Nebraska, Dr. Jason Vogt began his career as a respiratory therapist, and studied biology at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln (GO HUSKERS!). He attended dental school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Dentistry, and graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. His love for children and desire to help kids and work with kids every day inspired him to complete his training in pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Jason also discovered a love for teaching, so for two years, he was lucky enough to treat patients and teach new residents how to be excellent pediatric dentists as a faculty member in the pediatric dental post-graduate program at UNMC.

Dr. Jason has provided outstanding dental care for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, the Santee Sioux Indian Tribe, and the Army National Guard, where he readies soldiers for deployment. Dr. Jason’s extraordinary contribution to dentistry has earned him the 2007 Army National Guard Dentist of the Year award and the 2007 Hope Medical Outreach award for his service to underprivileged children. Dr. Jason continually finds ways to make a difference through dentistry: He has participated in dental mission trips to Morocco, South Africa, Italy, and Belize.

Dr. Jason is a member of the Murfreesboro Dental Society, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Association for Respiratory Care, and Army National Guard.

Dr. Jason is married to singer/songwriter Hannah McNeil, his beautiful wife for nearly 20 years! They are blessed beyond measure to get to spend most of their spare time coaching or teaching or tickling Josephine Anne, CeCe Max, and Paxton Jase — the most beautiful blessings of their lives. When he is not at the office, Dr. Jason likes working at home on a project, or going to SkyZone, Monkey Joe’s, Jump Street, the Zoo, or anywhere fun with his kiddos ... even the couch, being a tickle monster! He also likes to watch NASCAR, play sand volleyball or softball, and travel when he gets the chance.
