Dr. Joy McKee is a native of Decherd, Tennessee. She received a degree in biology from Lipscomb University. Both her Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Master of Science in pediatric dentistry were earned at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. McKee’s specialty training included residencies at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis. She has practiced pediatric dentistry in Murfreesboro since 1983.
Dr. McKee is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and American Academy of Dental Practice Administration. She is board certified, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. McKee has served in officer roles in the Murfreesboro Dental Society, Fourth District Dental Society, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a staff member of Middle Tennessee Medical Center and has served as the dental representative to the Rutherford County Board of Health.
